Make Your Own Christmas Wrapping Paper

Create your own linocut Christmas paper using our free Christmas designs!

For this project, you’ll need:

• Candy Cane & Gingerbread Design

• Pencil

• Lino block

• Carving tool

• Ink roller

• Block printing ink

• Paper

Start by transferring the designs onto your lino block. All you need is a soft graphite pencil, then cover the back of the surface of the drawing that you want to transfer. Lay the design down onto the lino and then trace the image.

Once this is done, you are ready to start carving. If you are a beginner, go slowly to get as much detail as possible carved into the lino. Remember that raised areas are what you will see when your lino stamp is complete. When your carving is completed, you are ready to roll on your printing ink and get stamping.

Your custom paper is complete! Use it to create beautiful, unique wrapping paper that is sure to stand out under the Christmas tree.
